Michelin T63 vs. Conti TKC 80
Roughly estimate that among many of Honda riders are huge amount of expirienced offroaders :-)Ok, I have done 7000 km on T63 tyres and now is time to replace tyres with new set. T63 are realy great choice, very stable on asphalt and great on macadam and rocks, I felt very safety while rode on them. But, several days ago I read a comparing test of enduro tyres, and TKC 80 won tightly over T63, all other competitors were much worse than wining double. Any suggestions from expirienced riders who tried both of its?

If you search for Continental TKC80 or Twinduro, there was a big discussion about this a few months ago.
...but before you search, I would get the Conti, every time. http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif ------------------ =-=-= ON THE EDGE! =-=-= My XR650L Pan-Med Expedition Site! :) |

personally, I wouldn't bother with the T63. its a soft-carcass, cheapo Desert.
I just spent a day searching for a Conti to try, but gave up and bought an MT21 which I rate higher than the T63. |
Hi, I ride an AT, I'm on my second set of TKC 80's, good tyre really takes the hammer, OK in the wet so long as you ride for the conditions. I have done hundreds of miles on tarmac and off road on TK's, if you intend doing rough tracks and tarmac they are the business.
