Trans Alp rear sub frame
 

I want Jesse luggage to build some boxes for my 97 TA. they have a 87 TA in the shop, is the rear sub frame the same? can anyone recomend other boxes for the TA? Also has any one experienced front end wash out on their TA when riding in sand? Lets go real easy, much improved by deflating the front tire, but pain in the ass reinflating all the time. Ay one recomend a good front tire, on/off road compromise? Thanks in advance.

My 1993 frame is the same as the 1987, if that helps???

I am pretty certain that there is no frame change until the 2000 model. Check out deti mullers transalp site and join the TA list. You will get answers to all sorts of TA questions there.

imho it is best to build cheap homemade boxes and racks for a trip of any distance or length, that can be bashed back to shape on the road. Put the money into suspension instead.
