Western Australia Travellers Meeting /Adventure Weekend 5-7 April 2019 We're very pleased to announce that Xander and Tam Kabat have found a great new venue and will be organising an HU Western Australia Adventure Weekend combined with a Traveller Meeting from 5-7 April 2019! Note the earlier date!
Where? Yourdamung Retreat near Collie. Yourdamung Retreat Bed & Breakfast Collie WA What's happening? Riding! There's a trail/firebreak around the property and loads of local trails. We have gotten rider training AGAIN!!!, ride outs, skills demos and challenges, mechanical workshops and more! And a Heaps of awesome presentations and/or adventure travel films for the evenings! If you're looking for inspiration for your next adventure, or need a few more skills to help your travels, then this is the meet for you :-) Join us in Collie for a great selection of inspiring talks & educational workshops. Hear about travelling around Australia, across Africa, through the Himalayas, around Mongolia & along the Trans European Trail. Build up your skills, knowledge & bike set-up with sessions on cooking stoves, lifting your bike, bike ergonomics, travelling in the USA, understanding fuels, tyre changing & repair, packing, bike modifications & on-road repairs. On Friday, join the introductory off-road rider training from West Moto Adventures (https://www.facebook.com/westmotoadventures/) Throughout the weekend, test your skills on the Adventure Travel Challenge obstacle course & other challenges or join others for ride-outs. Evening meals per person/night $28; Thursday night make-your-own pizzas $15; PAYG breakfasts & lunches.
