HU Ontario 2019 - May 23-26!
 

Golden Beach Resort on Rice Lake is our fantastic new location for HU Ontario. It's in a great riding area, but a bit further east, still very convenient from Toronto and closer to Ottawa and Montreal. Lots of accommodation choices on site for every budget, from camping to cottages. More good news - the entire facility is heated!

Going to the event solo, GBR is not an option, I just need a room. Camping it out.

Looks like motels in Peterborough might be the answer

Decided to camp, My only concern is power. I need to charge my Cpap battery each day. Solar panel will work if its sunny or I can charge it off the bike when riding just would like a 3rd option. Is there maybe charging stations setup somewhere?

I was considering buying used camping equipment, but at 61 yrs of age really don't feel like it. My second option was renting a room in Peterborough

I've booked a 2 bedroom condo at the Golden Beach Resort checking in thursday and check out Sunday morning...

I'm looking for someone interested in sharing the condo with me. For the 3 nights I got quoted (with the 35% discount) $551.00 Cdn or roughly $425.00 US. Not cheap and they don't provide anything, so you'll need your own soap, towels, coffee, garbage bag, etc. Non smoking rooms as well.

I have preregistered for Ontario. But I haven't paid yet. I was wondering how I could change some of my selections. I was camping but have made other arrangements and I selected meals, wanted to change that also. How should I go about doing that.

Just reply to your registration email and tell us exactly what you want, that's ALWAYS the easy way :)

Nope - it's a regular campground so you're going through them. DO tell them you're here for the event and you can probably camp where we'll all be, assuming something else isn't happening there. :thumbup1:

FYI, the rate for the 2 Bedroom Deluxe Lakefront Cottage is $1060 (Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights) less a 35% discount.

Ouch thats kinda steep even with the conversion to US dollars.....

Credit for camping is not an issue, just let us know, and we can take care of it.
