HUMM Monashees July 20-22, 2018
 

The 3rd Canadian HUMM will be happening in the Monashees of British Columbia. What's a HUMM? Horizons Unlimited Mountain Madness, a.k.a. 'the best thing you can do on a motorbike'!

A HUMM is kinda like an off-road motorcycle scavenger hunt. There is no set course, so you make your own adventure! Winning demands strategy, teamwork, riding and navigation skills and pure fun! 'The best 48 hours of my life!'

The Monashees are a 400-km-long range in southern BC. Known to hikers and heli-skiers for some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, the Monashees are relatively unknown as an off-road riding destination. We aim to change that! 'couldn't believe how good the scenery was...' '...some of the best riding I've done, ever.'

Special Mention - British Bulldog
 

For those who weren't aware, Paul Crown, Charlie Pearce's Team Mate in British Bulldog, broke his ankle in 3 places on Day 2 and required surgery - he is now sporting nuts, bolts and screws, can't put weight on it for 3 months! But he rode all the way back to base without assistance - hard core and tough as nails!

BTW, they still managed to snag the 3rd place trophies in the Map Multis Class!

DATS Dirt Chimps (winners of the GPS Multis Class) have produced an amazing video of the gnarlier trails and amazing views this year. Well done guys!

We will be producing an updated HUMM trailer for 2019, so if you have EDITED (10 minutes maximum!) video of the trails or other interesting video you would be happy to share, please put it on WeTransfer or OneDrive or DropBox and send Susan a link. You must give us permission to use the clip in HU media used anywhere, as we'll use snippets for the trailer, post the clips to the HUBB, Facebook etc.
