Leaving from Presido, TX
 

Due to a change in plans I don't have anyone to ride with across the border. Is anyone out there planning on using the Presido, TX crossing around the 12th or 13th?? If so I would like to tag along. Not that familar with the language (even though I have ridden a good bit in Mexico)nor do I have good maps (no GPS).

If El Paso is an option I can ride the 200 miles from Alpine and meet there also.

I'm not crossing there, but have done in the past. It's a very quick, easy and relaxed border-post; you shouldn't have any difficulties solito, español o no.

I've crossed there before also. Just like to ride with someone else when I don't know where I'm going. I may end up in Canada or Central America. <G>

No problem if you want to cross the border with us.

I'll most likely be crossing there about that time. Wouldn't mide a companion. Are you planning on riding directly to Creel or farting around a bit? What are you riding? Dual sport or stick to the pavement type?

Ojinaga to Creel by most direct route is easy in a day. Did it last year (actually up to Marfa).
The Ojinaga crossing is nice: Small, relaxed, much easier than Juarez or Nuevo Laredo, imho.

Anyone interested drop me an email. So far I'm riding alone unless I pick up anyone on the way.

I am aiming to cross at Presidio on the morning of the 13th. Already emailed Kurt. I'd be up for some dirt but would like to reach Creel on the 13th if that is possible.
