Paso and Bahia San Sebastian Argentina
 

Hi Everyone,

Chile just released Infos about Land Border Openings. We will be at Puerto Nantales on 28.12 and would like to celebrate New Year at Ushuaia.
The Border next to Rio Gallegos will be opened, but I found no Infos that Paso San Sebastian will open. Internet says its only open to Argentinians and Residents.
I have a paper Map that shows a Ferry Connection on the Argentinian Side of Bahia San Sebastian, but I cannot find any Infos. Does anyone know if there is a Ferry and maybe if so, how often it Sails and if Prebooking is needed?

Is this what you seek?
In pre-covid times, no reservation was necessary and It ran several times per day. Like most ferries, they usually make room for motos even if it is officially full.

There isn’t any ferry on the Argentinean side, the sea there is tough to sail. The crossing by Chile side is the only way, you have to get to Faro Punta Delgada. Cruce Primera Angostura

thanks for your Reply. I thought my Map was wrong!
We cannot get back into Chile at Paso San Sebastian, so we wont be able to go to Ushuaia this Time. :thumbdown:
