Rossi, how did the brownie points scoring weekend go..??? Just wondered if a hot shower after trail ride was an option like last year..?? :thumbup1:

Weekend? It was nearly a week. Points earned :D

Not going to rule out a shower but no way will everyone get through with only 1 shower in the house. I'm sure there will be less demand for the hose pipe in the garden though :freezing:

As for a head count, I'm still not sure exactly how many are turning up as some are checking the weather first. Not everyone is riding either, but a couple of others are coming along for the ride but not camping. Short answer is we will find out on the day. I am hoping to have Nick Palmer along - we rode the route together last week. This will give us an option to split into 2 groups, meeting for lunch, if there are a few too many for 1 group.

When you get to the Hurlers car park you will see this bronze age burial mound (thank you google earth) which is part of my garden wall. Mark or I should be around to greet you.

Never been to a HUBB event before and this sounds right up my street. Still not certain I can make it yet, if I do come I'll arrive Sat lunchtime / afternoon, so I won't make the rideout. Is that OK?

Hi Guys... I'm gutted... got to pull out of the trip this weekend... hope you all have a great time and hopefully we'll meet up somewhere else.

:welcome: Not sure what time we will be back from the trail-ride but there will be others about, possibly enjoying the sun in the garden :rofl:. bier in the pub more likely. Pitch up and we'll see you sometime.

:rolleyes2: - this weekend. Arrive Friday for beer, possible trail ride Saturday, pub for food, beer and a chat, depart Sunday when your head is clear enough.

I'm afraid I won't be able to make it.

I attempted to crack my skull open in the footpeg of my bike in the workshop. Although I only managed to dig half a teaspoon of flesh out of the top of my head, I won't be able to to get a lid on over the resulting Tom & Jerry style lump let alone the dressing.:(

And the dog ate my homework.:D

Seriously, hope it isn't too serious and you can get your lid on again soon.

It was the Degu that ate my homework. The dog just raids the fridge.
