When you are eager to travel again you need a full vaccination approved by the EU or prove of being cured of covid 19 and you can leave right now.

I have my EU vaccination passport and I've already used it last week. I've been to Poland by car for a week-long trip and it was amazing. Also, so easy to travel, just as before the pandemic. I also found some great deals for this summer on https://topflightsnow.com/unusual-pl...ay-in-iceland/ and I can't wait for my month off work. It's a super hot summer, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it, but I hope to make the best out of it after the long break that we all took last year during the pandemic.

Just returned from a 3 week trip to iceland, double vacinated and had a pcr test before we left for Iceland and a test in Rekyavik before returning, easy to do and not a great deal of hassle.Masks in the airport and one the plane.
i will post a how to trip message later we shipped our LR from Immingham |

Home again after a month and 5900 Km - excellent trip. Not exactly inexpensive - totally out of the question if we had not been camping. A key learning - be flexible. We got there and found that we could not return on the same ticket/route (ban on arrivals from Schengen) so had to find a way to get back by another route and ended up returning home via London and Madrid... Happy to offer insights to anyone interested.

Please bear in mind that the quote you replied to is almost a year old. Much has changed for the good in this year. Let´s hope it won´t change back to the bad when this summer is over. |
