2006 KLE 500 rear shock
 

Hi All,

This is my 1st post just joined yesterday.

I purchased a 2006 '56' plate KLE 500 with low mileage on Wednesday. The rear shock is completly knackered (that's why I got the bike cheap) and it needs a battery.
Question :- Can the rear shock be refurbished or is it a throw away unit?
If it's a throw away unit does anyone out there recommend a replacement unit they may have purchased and tried?
I will only be using the bike for commuting and some touring with the majority of riding solo.
