clutch Sensor
 

I have aproblem with my clutch.

i was given a circuit diagram from one of the members here but as i am use less at reading them i am looking for help with this. i need pic's of others bikes showing where the sensors actualy are. pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the engine runs fine but when i release the clutch the engine begins to die one it engages. i took out the connector that connects into the clutch lever on the handle bar and i by passed it and works fine. but i would like to sort the problem as dont want it causing any more probs.

not sure what bike you are running. but I would advise checking the switch which is attached to the side stand. if your side stand switch is engaged you will be able to start the bike fine, but once it is in gear releasing the clutch will result in your engine being shut off.

its pretty easy to see on my bike, near the top of the stand... it will obviously be much easier to check if your bike has a center stand, or you have stands for it... if that is the problem, you can remove it, or replace it... should be able to find a spare at a breakers.
