Help. KLE500 can not select gears.
 

Hi,
I fitted some replacement foot pegs to my KLE500, they were a little high
so decided to adjust the gear lever.

Now I can only get 1st gear and neutral, no higher gears.
I've tried moving the connecting rod that runs between the lever and gear box, but can't seem to find the original position.

Anyone had the same problem or know how to fix this.
The gear changes were fine before I tried to adjust the lever.

Any help or advice would be great, thanks in advance.

Dave, are you moving when you try to select 2nd? The KLE will only let you select 1st or neutral whilst it is stationary. You have to be moving to get 2nd and up.

Hi poppykle, didn't realise the bike had to be moving to select 2nd and upwards.
Just took it out on the road after reading your reply and everythings ok.
