KLE 500 DIY seat mod?
 

Going to do long trip next sommer, and have to do something to that freaking seat..after 200km its like sitting on grill.
Planning to remove all foam away , and then rebuild it with rebond foam. Anybody done that allready? Success? Should i do with or wirout gel pads?

I have similar problem and I'm planing to change orginal seat with this one Comfort seat for Kawasaki KLE 500 maybe it would be helpfull.

That could be good choice, but im going to try to do it by myself first. Next april im going to drive 15-17.000km (Finland-Mongolia) in five weeks, and i need seat that is wide as possible(30-35cm). Same time i will remove back off the seat. that way i get my camping stuff 10cm lower.
