KLE 500 suspension
Hi all,
I have a 2006 KLE and am doing a lot of off road trail riding and touring, and it's a struggle to keep the bike in a straight line with the soft front suspension. To make it a bit better, I have replaced the fork springs with Ikon's progressive springs and it made a difference, but it is still not up there where I want it to be. I have noticed that you can adjust the air pressure in the forks, but I don't know what pressure would be good for trail riding and if it is a good idea to adjust the air pressure...? Help please. |
Look at this topic
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...fork-oil-33937 I have adjustes my front fork presure to 1 bar. I have only put 2 or 3 pumps so the air quantity is small but the diference is huge! Don't do it with an automatic air compressor. I recommend using a hand air pump. Good luck! |
Did you try any other pressure or just went for 1 bar?
Im sure there was another thred on this site covering this subject and If my memory is correct the pressure recommended was less then 1bar. I will have a look through the posts and try to find it. Im just cautious about any possible dangers of over inflating the forks? regards Roy:thumbup1: |
