I bought my KLE 500 new in May 2007. The bike stands outside mostly and is used every day. It's got about 65 000 km on the clock now. It seems like my battery has finally given up and needs to be replaced. My question is do you consider five and a half years service life out of the battery good? Assuming your charging system has been working 100 % during its time and the bike is in daily use. What is your experience on this? :thumbup1:

I wouldn't be complaining about a battery that lasted that long, constant use does seem to make them last longer.

Three and a half years so far on my V-Strom battery and it is still working well, unsure of the age of the battery in my KLE as I bought the bike second hand but it is working fine as well.
