KLE500 cylinder head HOLE????
Hello all,
I started "restoring" a KLE500 '91 that was siting for the past 2 years on its side stand. Changed Oil,plugs,Cleaned carbs, cleaned the gas tank... ti me to fill up the cooling system..NOT!:oops2: There are 2 holes on either sides of the KLE motor just between the air vents of the cylinder head. I hadn't noticed them since now, and the coolant is leaking from the one that is on the left hand. if i start the engine the coolant comes off really fast. Anyone knows what could that be? Should i post a photo of the location of the hole?. There's nothing in the manual about it... Please help Thanks |
Hi
Are you talking about the ones between the top 2 fins on the side of the cylinder head? |
Yes! but nevermind i just sorted it out.
These holes are draining holes for the spark plug area. One of the two water output hoses was having a leak and the water was escaping through that hole. I hope you can understand this because my english are.... Thanks anyway! |
Yeah there just drain holes.
