KLE500 not charging
Hi Guys,
I recently joined the KLE fan club, and bought a "wreck" for a steal that need quite a bit of work. So after much huffing and puffing I am at a loss for my last problem with the bike. The battery will not charge, I have tested the Stator and get an idling output of about 24v AC, but upon further inspection of the wiring I found there is a 6th wire that comes out of the rectifier. This 6th wire is white and red and I have a brown wire that is just chilling there. Can anybody please tell me what wires are supposed to go where, I suspect this bike has been rewired incorrectly. http://postimg.org/image/vl2ymz335/ Thanks a million for your help guys, this forum has been a wealth of information.... |
