I made this trip last summer, and figured out that somebody here might be interested. KLE is underrated bike, and after some "travel tuning" you can do any tour with it..:

On the way Mongolia it did broke down three times, but nothing i could't fix..yep, it did serve well!

Nice vid' and trip, too !
Could you précise the average of pavement, "fast" trails, and some hard pistes ?
I would like to do something of the same mood, through Russia and Kazakhstan and so with, or my my actual DRZ ( not so nice for highways) , or a second hand pegaso ( not so good I think for severe off road ) :cool4:?
your idea ?
