640 engine
 

I have just been looking at a 640 adventure, but the bottom end of the engine was very noisey. Apparentaly the chap who had it before had let it run out of oil, and has ruined the crankshaft. Does anyone know where i can get hold of a secondhand engine, and aprox how much one would cost?

He is your best bet for finding something decent, though you may find it more cost effective to ask him to rebuild the engine, depending on the amount of damage done - after an inspection.
