thanks |
If no joy with mineral oil try cooking oil, olive oil or ATF.
Have used cooking oil before for quite a while when I was stuck. Hope it helps. Dave. |
clutch oil
thanks ive heard of this, how long did you ride for.
|
I would imagine the cooking oil, corn oil, olive oil all will work for quite some time. I have also heard that fork oil will work. I tossed my KTM clutch slave in the trash for just this reason.
|
Citroen hydraulic fluid will also work.
After that episode, I replaced it with a slave from Oberon -excellent. Hope this helps |
Citroen hydraulic fluid and baby oil are the two alternatives that I have heard of. Hope you get sorted soon.

I sent Bruce a text last night with all the suggestions and he messaged me back to say he was able to get hold of some motorex mineral oil and is now back up and running again.

Good news.

new slave
When I travel the HOSI slave is always with me, it´s much better than the original, purchase at www.sigutech.com

Just installed my new Oberon slave yesterday. Very nice piece, but time will tell if it's good...
