KTM 640 for roads
I am planning a trip to Montreal, Canada from Mexico.
How well would a KTM 640 will perform in highways and "normal roads" and would you ktm owners would recommend this bike for this kind of travel. Thanks |

is that enough of an answer for you? |
640 is fine for highways, but you'll be pleasantly rewarded if you find a twistier route.

Ktm 640
The 640LC is a great bike but I would recommend a padded seat or sheepskin cover, as the vibrations can be tiring if you are covering large distances.

Not the 4 lane...the 2 lane of course.

If your KTM is in good condition, has plenty of oil, it should be fine.

Forget it...
Friend, my world is "orange"....
BUT, sounds you want to go on the highways, more speed, more cruseing? Then forget the KTM one cylinder bikes, they will shake you off the bike. From 120 kmh onwards stability will get weaker etc. Either you try the more stable 2 cylinder versions or you should leave the orange world. Ah, by the way, if you only think of hitting some back-roads with harder terrain, then you are back entering the "orange world"... Clear enough? Cheers and have fun. Rasmus |
