Clutch cylinder fun!
 

Suddenly the clutch pedal is stuck to the floor - my foot is searching for the lost pedal. Floor is instantly slippery with DOT4 brake oil.......NO clutch

Here goes the clutch cylinder seal, i thought, not quite:

The plastic piston broke, trashing the rubber seal in the meanwhile

Good write up.

When bleeding the clutch, have you ever tried to reverse bleed it via the slave cylinder? We have a bleed can with hose we push onto the bleed nipple of the slave cylinder, then pump fluid backwards from the slave and bubbles appear in the fluid reservoir at the front of the cab (with cap removed). Very effective.
