Kia Sorento - info needed!

Hi, I run a Kia Sorento 2-5l Diesel Auto, and am looking for opinions and info. on its suitability as an overland vehicle (not hardcore r.t.w. stuff, just gentle touring to Turkey & beyond). Also looking for UK places to source roofracks etc suitable for a roof tent... Many thanks, David ~
