Make a difference - Ride for Charity!
Have you 'made a difference' while travelling, by fundraising or donating time and energy to a worthwhile cause such as wildlife conservation or health issues? Would you like to? Tell us how you did it, what the experience was like, and how others can help. Chris Smith and Liz Peel's story about the work they did in Belize, plus a few others that have struck home for us were the impetus for the forum. Please check it out and add your thoughts on what you, or anyone, can do to make a difference anywhere in the world, whether travelling or not. If you are a non-profit organization, or individual who knows of an opportunity for travellers to help out in a less developed country, tell us about it or post it in this forum. If you know of organizations - other than the majors such as Unicef, that we might not find otherwise, please also tell us about it or post it here. |
