Hello everyone,

Ilove this site!
I'm planning a trip through South America. Starting in South Florida and ending at Cape Horn (I work on the water- lots of weather stories). Maybe get hooked up with a ship to the South Pole (sans bike). I will be starting out in the begining of Sept. '06. I have two Aussie's that want to come with.
The question I have is this. I want to raise money for Parkinson's. My Dad has it. It would make me feel good to do something when I feel so helpless. Any advice. Fundraising do's and don't's. Nation Parkinsons Foundation? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Nice meeting you today. I have started reading up on travel to S. America. Looks like it could be quite the adventure for you.
