Bike rental - Syria / Jordan ?
 

Anyone know of any bike rental companies or freindly people in these countries. I may be going there in December and would like to get a few days on two wheels if possible. The trip is too short to warrant shipping my own bike in but a rental may be interesting.

In Jordan Bikes are out of law, only the police and royal family ride them- (and passing tourist riders)
In Syria you can not rent a bike but you can borrow one privatly, get ready for an old 125cc

Thanks Joni.... that's bad news then I guess, but not really a surprise. I may have to stick to 4 wheels. I've found a few places renting cars and 4x4's but have also learned I can't cross the border in a rented car so I'll be heading to Aqaba by other means I guess.....anyone got a camel I can borrow ? :scooter:

125 in Syria
 

I rented a 125 in Palmyra last year. Fun to cruise the dessert with. Plenty of guys are willing to rent out there motorbike.
