Number one rule of applying for visas:

DON'T GIVE MORE INFORMATION THAN YOU NEED TO.

The visa has nothing to do with your means of transport.

You are asking for trouble if you start volunteering all the details of the unusual trip you want to make in the country etc.

It's a no-brainer really.
