Ferry from Iran to Oman?
 

Is there's any ferry service going from Iran to Oman? Or only way to go from Iran to Oman is via UAE?

I did some search in the internet about the issue. Looks like the only way to get to Oman with own viecle is via Dubai/UAE.

met a guy on the road who intended to take a ferry from Iran to Oman and claimed to have found a ferry. I got I mail from him out of Oman, so I suppose there is a ferry. I will ask him.

According to http://www.vesc.net/Services/TicketPL.htm
there is no ferry between Iran and Oman. However, there might be another companies. Also Oman is not far from UAE. You can easly ride. By the way, where are you now? As I mentioned previosly I will ride to Middle East in a month time. I've partly hear that there's no ferry service between Oman and Iran too. Though, at the same time i hear Iran and Oman have very active relationship in tourism and marketing both from locals, strange...
