From Saudi to mainland Africa by ferry
 

Hi folks. I've seen people talk about catching a ferry from Port Sudan to Jeddah but never see people talk about going the other way. What is the best way to get across from Jeddah or thereabouts to the mainland of Africa? Is there another ferry I could use? Any advice is gratefully received.

as far as i know it is too hard to get saudi transit or somekind of visa. thus overland from saudi looks a bit hard but not non-achievable. there are some poeple who cross the saudi.
