Lebanon, selling a vehicle there?

I am planning to drive through a good part of Europe and then into Turkey, then cross into Syria with the end destination Beirut with a Mercedes Diesel.

Has anybody sold a car in Lebanon and taken the plane home?
Is it possible to sell a car and leave?

Any experience is greatly appreciated.

Sorry to disappoint, but unless things have changed, you won't be allowed into Lebanon with a diesel vehicle.

In that case I will have to extend my search into the petrol powered Mercedes. Thought that all countries around the Mediterranean loved "Diesels" :innocent:

Do you by chance know if it's possible to get into Lebanon with a petrol version car and sell the car?

with normal petrol car it should not be a problem entering Lebanon and selling it.
