Motorcycle travel Cape Town to India
 

Hi, I'm planning my next motorcycle travel form Cape Town to India, and I'd like to know some information about. Does anybody know if it's better cross Africa - Iran by ferry from Gibuti to Yemen or go up until Egypt and cross Israel and Iraq. How is the situation now in these countries?

Yemen is in the middle of a civil war as is a lot of Iraq and an Israeli stamp in your passport or any indication that you have been there will get you banned from all of them.
This trip might involve at least two ferries or shipping, Egypt to Greece or Turkey and Iran to Mumbai as Pakistan is not the easiest visa to get, there is also the shorter route of shipping somewhere like Mombasa to Mumbai.
There will be other options but the places you mention are all pretty much no-go areas.

Thank you, actually i'm thinking about change our route. Maybe ship bike to Italy (because I am Italian) and go on from Italy to India.
