Don't go looking for sympathy round here, Ivan!

Sam, how about meeting one evening this week and planning something for the weekend? I can give you an escort on your way down to Dhofar. :scooter: But like, Ivan, I have to be back at work after the weekend.

Send me a PM. Stephan

VFR in Oman?

Is it ok to ride an over loaded sports tourer in Oman, i.e. is there plenty of tarmac going to interesting places?

As I'm currently in Iran and Dubai and Oman seem so close it seems a shame not to visit especially as Jan-Feb seems the best time of year.

Yes, there is. Check out my web site. And while you are there, why not continue down to Yemen?

Come on over! Maybe I'll ride my overweight K1200 with you for a few miles. :)

PS It's really cold here now... about 25°C and partly cloudy! :Beach:

I have been reading your website!! And that is why I asked the question as you seem to be doing loads of off-roading (which is cool for you) but my aging VFR is not so keen on the wobbly stuff preferring the hard black stuff :-)
