trip to central asia - leaving the bike there?

i´m thinking about a trip to central asia. unfortunately i don´t have more than 6 weeks off in summer, so i thought about splitting the trip, leaving the bike somewhere and continue next summer. does anybody know if it´s possible to leave the bike in turkey, armenia, azerbaijan, georgia, russia or kazakhstan for such a long time?

Not possible in Russia.

I've seen threads on the HUBB about doing this in Georgia and Turkey, but I don't remember the answer, so do a search. I am pretty sure it is possible in Mongolia, IIRC someone on this site is currently storing his bike in UB until next summer.

Kyrgyzstan is possible though it's a bit of a reach, distance-wise.

Kazakhstan permits 6 months and then customs duty is due.

Then there's Mongolia where a customs deposit is paid in USD and refunded in local currency.

Possible in Kyrgyzstan for as long as you want

It is very easy to store them in Kyrgyzstan. No deposit, no declaration. As long as you want.
There are 5 bikes stored right now, 2 of them since July 2012.
Contact me for more details.

thanks for your replies!
kyrgyzstan could be an option, haven´t been thinking about it yet because of the distance. but that´s manageable, i think, and a good reason to visit that beautiful country again. would be perfect for a second break, if i go on a three year splitted trip.
anyhow, i´m still interested in informations, especially about georgia, armenia and azerbaijan, didn´t find threads about that :confused1:

Forget Azerbaijan, not possible bec. of laws, don't know Armenia!
Only Georgia looks ok for this purpose...
