Thanks
Thanks Stephano.
Had a feeling this would be the case, i will be based in Jeddah but would like to have a good look around. cheers steve [quote =Stephano;275046]Not to be (too) pedantic, Steve, but you can't cross in to Dubai from Saudi Arabia. :smartass: Abu Dhabi emirate accounts for the vast majority of the UAE and would be your point of entry. http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:N...UAE_en-map.png Entry would depend on your nationality but with a British passport you would get a tourist visa at the border. If you need accommodation, having crossed the border in the evening, there's a very shabby but friendly enough rest house at Silah: N24 00.908 E51 45.913
It's on the main road; not in the town itself. Stephan |
Thanks Stephan,
Have you ever thought of giving up the day job and becoming the middle eastern tourist / traveller information specialist, you appear to have a wealth of knowledge which you are always ready to share and help others' Thanks very much Steve. Will be in Jeddah this W/E for a month if you are anywhere close. Quote:
