visa from syrians in turkey
 

hi bikers,not one myself but just thought i'd warn any brits wishing to acquire a visa for syria from the consulate/embassy in ankara of the possible glitches.i got stung for 165 lire (60pound) for a letter of reccomedatıon which i had to get from the uk embassy for the syrians who then told me to wait 10 days and ring.they now say i gotta wait till the 20th.i also had to become a christian on paper at the uk embassy as i was told the syrians would reject my application if i continued being an atheist! jumping ship to india whıch i have a vısa for that took me just 2 hours to get in london.shame the authorities are such gits cause the actual syrians are supposed to be a sound bunch just as their neighbours.safe travels
