One work permit needed

With your qualifications you should have little problem getting a work permit under a "knowledge migrant" scheme, and once you have that for one EU memeber state, you can take it anywhere throughout the EU. It might be worth considering getting the permit, doing a couple of months work on arrival to support the permit, make some useful contacts and get a local reference.

The UK and the Netherlands have fairly active temp/contract/interim marketplaces ranging from general admin roles to very senior levels. I have worked in the Netherlands using English as the working language and a little Dutch and German socially. Even when the economy is weak, people still need cover for special projects, maternity etc. Other places may be similar, but I have no experience of them.

The agencies filling these roles tend to be the big multi national meat shippers, but once you have a role you don't have to think about how you found it (and NEVER think about how much money they are making out of you).
