2 weeks bike storage marrakech
 

Hi. I'm currently in Morocco on my bike and like it here so much I've decided to extend my trip. I will however fly home for Christmas for 2 weeks so I'm looking for somewhere in marrakech to store my bike as cheaply and safely as possible. I don't want to have to Bury another one in the desert! Lol. If anyone has any info or can help me out, I would be hugely grateful. Cheers

Import duty is 40% in morocco, so you can't leave the country without your bike, unless you leave it at the customs compound at the airport. I don't know how you arrange this, but as your bike is recorded in your passport they won't let you out unless it's done properly.

I was in Marrakech a few weeks ago on one of Chris Scotts trips (to be recommended) and this issue was discussed.
