3 4 day trip in Mid November
Hi Folks,
So after a few years of reading trip reports we are finally headed on a Moroccan Adventure. Aiming to do 3 to 4 days 2up touring out of Marrakesh or Agadir. We fly into Agadir but are currently looking at going to Marrakesh to rent a bike off Loc2Roues. We're not pushed at spending the time in a mad rush to see the dunes as we'll be back again, more thinking of trying to put together an interesting loop. We like the sound of seeing the gorges landscapes and some of the berber towns so any suggestions for a 3 day loop would be appreciated, thanks Also if the experts such as Chris, Tim et all can advise on what weather to expect / places to avoid in mid November that would be most appreciated. |
Weather varies, November could be warm and sunny in the middle of the day but chilly in mornings and evenings. However if there's no sun it will be chilly all the time (but probably still better than home). Look at a long term forecast as your dates come near, for example, https://weather.com/en-GB/weather/te.../MOXX0004:1:MO
Mountains are colder due to the altitude. You could look at renting in Agadir (I don't however have any experience of this) and heading south for Tafraoute (heaven on earth for me) and Sidi Ifni on the coast. |

Was in Morocco last November from Tan med, Chefchaouen, fes, merzouga, gorges, Essaouira, taroudant, Tizi n test and back to tan med......weather was fab and I had airflow on all the time....views spectacular in the mountains as you could see the snow on the high peaks.....
