Is it cheaper to book just a seat , then upgrade to a cabin once on board ?:innocent:

In my own experience all cabins are fully booked well in advance.But u can always ask and maybe get lucky :scooter:

In short.....No . They are cheaper the earlier u book one , they also get booked up very quickly .

I paid £469 ten days ago for a rider/bike return in March/April 2025. Portsmouth to Bilbao including a 4 berth cabin with window, the outward journey is two nights so in total three nights accommodation.

Bargain .. hope you have a calm crossing !
I have used Brittany ferries many times and only once in sept the thing was full to spain !
I am going to just book ferry and seat next time and upgrade to a cabin ?
( or sleep in the piano bar !! )

Well the seats are a tenner and the door to them is coded so u could leave ur kit there. Unfortunately my back just isn't up to sleeping there be it on the floor or in the chair .
If u play ur cards right u might bump Into another rider who would let u use their shower and / or share their room .
