I am traveling north from mauri to morocco,crossing at Bir gUENDOUZ,near Nouabhibou,any one know if i can get car insurance for morocco on the boarder,either the mauri side or moroc side,if not where can it be bought.

I don't recall anything like an insurance booth on the Moroccan, the border post is a bit basic. There's an 'assurance' caravan on the Mauri side the last time I went but it was selling exorbitantly priced Mauri insurance. You might have some luck in Dahkla (google 'dahkla assurance'), failing which Laayoune. AXA offices.

You are unlikely to be stopped and asked for insurance papers, but if you are volunteer the fact that you are looking and ask where you can get it.
