Ceuta or Tanger

What's the best way to enter Morocco, regarding Custom handling( time, Quickstep procedure,.....) : Ceuta or Tanger?

Done both several times. Tanger is more modern and perhaps quicker, but I prefer the chaos of Ceuta.:smile2:

Happy travels,

Ceuta is certainly 'fun' if chaos is your sport of choice.
Tanger bMed is positively civilised by comparison.
We've done both and I'm afraid I've left Ceuta in a bad mood anytime I've been near the place.
Tanger Med is certainly the easiest way in with a vehicle.

I'd agree with this. Other than a customs guy asking me for something I didn't understand (my V5, as it turns out) and raising his voice each time he asked (I thought it was just the British that shouted the same thing louder when they're not understood!), Tanger Med was VERY easy and quick; it was my first time.

Did both last year. In through Ceuta. Encountered touts and helpers, politely declined, was hassled by one, who through excess of drugs or alcohol( or both) collapsed and stopped breathing, Managed to revive him and was escorted through customs etc in five minutes as a reward and given chief's cp number if I had any problems.

Don't recommend this action at every border!

Tangier was boring and straightforward

Have a great trip. Morocco is fantastic

Nador

It's worth mentioning Nador (from Almeria, Spain) as well. We did this and then via Tanger on the way back. But be careful at Tanger there are 2 ports, a new and an old and they are about 70kms apart, so not at all the same thing!!!!
