Chinese travel around Morocco on motorcycles

Hello everyone, there are more than a dozen of us who plan to rent motorcycles in Marrakech to travel around Morocco, starting in January 2025 and lasting for about 2 weeks.I would like to know what the weather is like in January, especially on the road from Merzouga to Fez. Will it snow by then? The temperature is about a few degrees. It would be nice to have a detailed route map. We don't go off-road, we ride F750GS or 390ADV. thanks a lot !

Last January was exceptionally warm in the south but one place I have found reliably cold, even as late as March, is around Azrou / Middle Atlas N13 south of Fez.
For maps of Morocco - digital or paper – see here:

Enjoy your tour.

Is the car rental company called M2R that I found in Marrakech reliable?

I used them once years ago and got a shitty bike, but others do rate them.
In my experience you can't go wrong with BM Attitude (aka: Loc2Roues).
6 x new 390s just in and bigger bikes available.
If you are 12 you'll need to reserve soon - whoever you use.
BM could probably do you a support driver in a pickup, if needed.

I rented bikes from loc2roues in 2018 and it was a great memory, the service and the vehicles were great! But they don't have Himalayan450, so.....:D

Not ridden either but I imagine a Him 450 would be a nicer bike for Morocco than a 390. I wish Loc had bought those.

Now Loc2roues are different from 2018 and need to collect a deposit...Cross-border remittances in mainland China are still a bit inconvenient and the fees are high.
