The one near the lighthouse opposite the beach, has now gone.



Apartments being built on the rest of the old boys land, as half his land was muscled in on and brought a few years ago.


Great shame, as bad as it was, he was an interesting guy and it was in a great location, now there's no camping in Essaouira. :thumbdown:

Closed down in April I think. Someone really needs to open a good site in town.

Sites at Sidi Kaouki were deserted 2 weeks ago

I camped there in March, even though it was on the cards, still a shock, I love the beach area, lovely walk into Essaouira.



Looking at buying land in Sidi Kaouki, sadly it seems like a rubbish tip at the moment, like far too much of Morocco.
