Ex army camouflage clothing on Morocco
I am off to Morocco shortly for the first time and was thinking of taking some army camo goertex waterproofs. Is army clothing a good idea in Morocco from a security point of view ???
Any comments welcome. Thanks |
Camo clothing
While Morocco's not a conflict zone, you'll probably get a few looks and questions at the border. And maybe on the road.
Camo gear's not the clothing to wear around town so I'd advise against it. |
I don't know about Morocco, but I know that in some parts of the world wearing camo-style clothing can gain unwanted extra attention from the cops and border guards. My advice would also be to skip it.

You'll find there's a lot of hunters, fishermen in Morocco who wear camo as a matter of course. I even came across a clay pigeon shoot in the mountains with everyone dressed up.
Now if you were riding one of those Ural sidecar outfits with pretend machine guns, that might be a different matter. |

I think the fact you asked the question probrably means you think it 'may' not be a good idea and I would agree.

Thanks for all the replies/help, will probabilly go with civilian waterproofs to be on the safe side.
As for the "KLR" I would leave the gun case off........!!! Thanks |
