Ferries etc from Spain
 

Anyone got any current info about the ferries from Algeciras to Ceuta - times, costs etc. We’ll be there in a couple of days on our matching pair of old two strokes and forewarned would be helpful. Any recommendations also about where to say in the Algeciras area - cheap hotel or campsite both ok

I often stay at the inexpensive Casa Bernardo Macias. It's ten minutes or so before Algeciras, you come off the A7 at junction 117. I always used to stop there because of the fish soup with pernod—sadly not seen on the menu for a while. Single rooms are (or were) about €27 but for the same price you could have one of their bungalows that sleeps two people.
