Of course I know I do not need unleaded for an 1988 bike, much better leaded, but unleaded is the only carburant instead of diesel they sell at that Total fill station. I meant: no gas at all for the bike, no essence, no benzine, no gasoline, no nothing. Just diesel all the way. Diesel and sand. Not good for filling the bing carburators with.

Happy ending. Now in Dakar. Very polluted city.
viajes de invierno I am going to solve custom problems to keep here the bike. If I find out a solution, I will post it on the Subsaharan forum. |
Hi
If you can't sort parking in Senegal, maybe try Gambia: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...t-africa-43013 Good luck Chris |
Hi, Chris. Thanks for the link. I ve seen you tried what I am trying now, doing the long trip part by part. Where is your bike now? Did you give up about riding Timbuktu?
I am going to ask about the route to Timbuktu in subsaharian forum. |

I added a reply to the same question in post #12 of the above link. The bike's back in Spain and is going to Russia next year. West/Sahel Africa currently holds no further interest for me. Hope you have your parking sorted. cheers Chris |
Hi, Chris. I was in Russia last year on my way to Kazkahstan. Too much corruption and angry people. Central Asia was much better.
HEADING EAST...: WELCOME ASIA When you are in Spain, if you stay in Madrid, send me a private msg and we can chat about Russia and some words you´d better know. I have place for long distance bikers. Good luck. |
