Morocco in November?
Hi Hubb
We are a group of friends that are planing a week trip to Morocco. This will be my second trip, first time was last year in October and I had perfect weather. We are looking at Atlas Mountains and south from there. How is your experience with the weather in November in this region? Ticket prices are double if we go in October, is it worth it? Thanks! |
Due to ocean, mountain and desert, south Morocco weather is less easy to predict than somewhere like LA for example, but in my experience November is a good choice:
November 2015: I didn't see a cloud for for entire month November 2014: We were trapped 3 days in Tazenacht; roads cut by floods in all directions. Devastation right across the south and west. Overall, I'd say 2015 was a more typical experience: desert not too hot, mtns not too cold, days not too short and as you say, flights not too pricey. |
Sorry, absolutely no way to predict. As Mark Twain wrote 150 years ago, "Climate is what we expect, weather is what we get."
Morocco has 300+ days of sunshine, so the odds are that it will be OK. But it might not be. |
Thanks for the feedback! I know how hard weather is to predict. We will take the chance of going in november :)
