Morocco Number in Old Passport
Hi all,
I've been to Morocco twice on my last passport, however the next trip required my shiny new jumbo one. Does anyone know if i should use the number in my old passport on the vehicle import form (D16TER), or fill it in as if it's my first time there? Happy travels Sam |

Spot on, cheers mate.
Getting there now, 25 working days left!! bier |
No problem, they will stamp a new number on your new passport. It ´ll be a different number. Fill the import form as if it were your first time in Morocco.

Cheers Pera, if only all Africa paperwork was as straight forward :thumbup1:

You´ll get a new number but they know you are the same person. You can check it in the screen of the customs computer.

Hello,
My recent (May) experience here: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...248#post380870 "I went to Morocco last week with a new passport and informed the lady on the border that I had a "CIN" on a previous passport, informing her its exact reference. She checked something on the computer and wrote on the new passport the same "CIN" as I was given before." Have to clarify that this time I entered via Marrakech airport. Happy and safe travels, Luis CaBRita |
Thanks all,
I'll make sure I've got the old number written down somewhere to tell them, but won't fill it in ahead of time on the D16TER in case they want to give me a new one at the land border. Cheers Sam |
Hi Sam,
had the same thing last time I went to Morocco. All you have to do is have your new passport registered, at a seperate window of course, and they will issue you a new CIN number. Just one more queu to jump :) Greetz, Joey |
Sounds about par for the course!
