Morroco in March
I have never been out of the country since 1973, I find I have about 20/21 days leave to take in March, my son has a late Bonneville and he made the suggestion take that and go down Morocco. From Northumberland to Plymouth then ferry to northern Spain then onto Morocco, Marrakech, and atlas mountains, is it feasable, weather wise

sounds like a good plan :)
rather than me posting again have a look here. http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...february-68085 ask away if you have any question, lot of knowledgable folk here |
I'm heading out in ten days time, staying for several weeks. March is a good time to go to Morocco, it is likely to be chilly still in early mornings and evenings, but lovely and warm during the day (providing it's sunny which it is most of the time). The middle of Spain can be cold, check the overnight temperatures at Valladolid as a sample.

Just pack plenty of warm clothes I travelled that route in march and most of northern Spain was below freezing over the high spots and once you hit the atlas you will encounter snow at altitude for sure which makes for dramatic scenery but bleak riding conditions so just pack more than you need with the clothing as you will need it! |
I think this idea should be shelved until later in the year, thanks for the replies
