The cost of getting to maroc ......

Just come back after a 5 weeks in maroc , using buses and local taxis and flying there ...... total cost .. flight hotels and travel to a far few places ....£1.200 !
I did a rough calculation from say manchester in uk with your biketc , just to get to maroc and aprox £1800. i bought a flight from manshester £52 +train fares £20 !!! +say 5 weeks with hotels and food and petrol and your into another £ 2,000! total £ 3800 .
But .................... you do have the motor bike adventure . but you miss out on meeting real moroccan people in a taxi of 6 .
?c??c??c?

Comparing apples to oranges there, it comes down to what you want from your trip. It's also worth contemplating that for vulnerable people having ones own transport gives an extra level of personal security.

The transport system is very good ! nearly all towns have a very reliable bus service ,, CTM OR SUPATOURS these: are the best to use or a taxi collective is faster but will only go when there are 6 people I think i would feel more secure on a bus going through say cassablanca than on a bike !

i have done both many times , and it is just a cost comparison getting to maroc :rolleyes2::rolleyes2:

Your math appears a bit suspect?

You reckon the costs of flying to Morocco and spending five weeks there with hotels, buses and taxis is £1,200.

The bike bit was also five weeks with hotels, but with no flights and with fuel instead of public transport. Yet it somehow comes to £2,500?

And how does £1,800 + £2,500 = £3,300?

Anyway, did you have a nice time?
